About Me
I started practicing yoga in 2010 while attending college in Boulder, Colorado. I immediately fell in love with the practice and used it to help me through periods of stress, anxiety, and depression. With the intention of self-empowerment and personal growth, I completed a year-long 250 hour teacher training program at the Yoga Life Institute with a focus on developing a consistent meditation practice. This began a beautiful spiritual, emotional, and physical transformation in my life. Over the year I gained incredible insights about myself and uncovered invaluable tools to help me navigate on my journey. I believe yoga and meditation are the keys for cultivating self-awareness and long lasting, healthy relationships. My intent for teaching is to share the joy and healing that yoga has brought me with others. I continue to be inspired by the practice of yoga and meditation and I yearn to inspire others by living the yoga lifestyle.

I began teaching in 2014 upon completion of my 250 hour and 500 hour training programs. After completing those, I enrolled in a three-year long Comprehensive Yoga Therapy training. I am currently a Level 1 certified Yoga Therapist and also has certifications in Yin Yoga, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga. In 2018, I took a leap of faith and left my corporate marketing job to travel, teach, and study yoga internationally, most notably in India. I love to incorporate what I learned while traveling into my classes and look forward to sharing my insights with you in my creative, challenging, yet calming flows. I plan to continue studying yoga and I am committed to a life-time of learning and self-development. As long as I am helping my students, they are helping me, as I believe, “In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn.”
